Online Experience
Online attendees will join Circle Day on Hopin, a virtual conference-hosting platform. Similar to the physical event, the online event experience is self-directed and features directions to help you get around. In addition to watching sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with both online and in-person attendees.
Please contact circleday@squarespace.com if you have any issues accessing Hopin before August 24. If you have any questions during the event, the Squarespace team will be standing by to offer technical Hopin support.
Using Hopin
Best Practices
To ensure Circle Day remains a safe, fun, and light space for learning and collaboration, we expect the chat areas of Hopin to be representative of our supportive Circle community. As you interact with fellow attendees, we ask that you balance productivity with joyful creativity and curiosity.
Please keep the following online guidelines in mind:
On Hopin, please use your first name and last name.
Treat everyone with respect and use appropriate language.
Absolutely no harassment, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated.
Remain professional and kind.
No spam. Self-promotion is allowed, but please ensure that any links you share are trustworthy sources. This includes DMing and networking with fellow attendees.
Don’t post inappropriate material or words.
If you see something in the chat that’s against the rules, please let staff know. Squarespace may require attendees to leave for violating any of our event rules.
Lean on your fellow community members for support and welcome diverse perspectives.
Please act in good faith. Trust that we are all working for the collective good of Circle members and their clients.
Joining the Event
We recommend accessing Hopin on your desktop before the event. If you prefer to access the event via mobile or tablet, download the mobile app for iOS and Android from Hopin’s downloads page.
While you won’t have access to the event itself prior to August 24, you will have the option to visit the Circle Day registration page. Read Hopin’s guide for details on navigating around this page.
When you registered for Circle Day, you were prompted to create an account on Hopin. If you know your login information, sign in. If you don't remember this information, you can reset it using the password reset form on the same page.
Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard and you will see a direct link to Circle Day. You can click on the event to get in approximately five minutes before it starts at 9:55 AM ET.
View Hopin’s official guide for more details on how to access an event.
Attending Sessions
Depending on the event schedule, participants can access sessions by visiting the Mainstage or Online Stage. The Squarespace team will share event reminders throughout the day so you’ll always know where to be and who’s speaking.
